Life has certainly been busy these past few months with summer and trying to soak in these boys of mine. It went by in a flash though. I started looking at curriculum for the school year this morning and it makes me so excited for the coming weeks! We usually begin our homeschool year around the beginning of September and finish sometime toward the end of June. It allows for a looser schedule for us and I don't feel so pressured to say "no" to all the fun, seasonal things that come up through the fall/winter months. I'm ninety percent certain we'll be doing a completely new curriculum also (for all of my boys) and that makes me even more excited!
I know it's been forever and a day since I last shared an outfit post, but I still really love fashion and finding great, budget friendly options for all my frugal ladies out there so, I hope you'll humor my "fashion blogger-ish" self and keep popping in to see these posts!
This dress is just sooooo cute and will be PERFECT for that tricky summer to fall transition weather. I couldn't believe it when it caught my eye in Walmart the other day. That's right, I said WALMART. They have been seriously killing it with their clothes/home finds lately! I love the length and loose fit, it would totally be bump friendly (if you're expecting a little one), and the tie front makes it nursing friendly too! (score!) I also love the cuffed sleeves and the fun peplum style and that it has an included matching slip, plus the print is super on trend and classic at the same time. So much to really love about it! For summer I would pair it with a fun sandal like this for church or date night or a flat sandal for more of an "everyday" look. To make it more fall/winter friendly, I'd simply switch out the sandals for booties or knee high boots to make it a bit cozier.
This gorgeous Fawn Design circle bag goes just perfectly with it and really grounds the whole animal print look. Also pairing a neutral earring with it helps too. So, it doesn't look too busy but it's still super cute and fun. These from Nickel and Suede are still some of my very favorites and they go with literally everything.
I also wanted to share my pretty little Noonday Belonging Necklace. It's so dainty and sweet. It looks so good alone but pairs great with other small jewelry pieces for a layered look as well. If you haven't heard of Noonday Collection, I highly recommend you check it out! They have such a great testimony as to why they do what they do and the impact they are making is incredible. I have a close friend who is now an Ambassador for them as well! So, if you'd like to grab one of their gorgeous pieces, I can totally hook you up! ;)
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is simply wonderful! Remember to fix your eyes on all that you're blessed with, rather than focusing on all of the hard stuff. Happy Monday friends!!
