Bumping Our Way to Baby

Hey friends! It's been so long I'm honestly having to think back a bit to remember exactly how I usually make my posts! Haha. I hope you're all doing well in the midst of the craziness that's going on right now. We're bumping along over here at nearly thirty eight weeks and getting so excited to meet this sweet boy we can hardly stand it!

I'm not really one to buy exclusively maternity style clothes when I'm pregnant, I just hate the idea that I can't continue wearing it (and it looking right) after baby is born. Especially when you don't know if you'll be getting pregnant again. I do love shopping for pieces that work now on this big ol' bump and will continue to look cute after baby arrives though! Pink Blush Maternity reached out to me to do a collab with them and I couldn't had said "YES!" fast enough! I absolutely adore their shop and all that they offer. Whether you're looking for staple maternity pieces or styles that will carry you through those baby days and beyond, they've got you covered with some of the most fashion-forward, trendy, and also classic styles out there. There's really something for everyone!

I chose this dress because it was just so beautiful and flowy. The high-low hem and the double strap neckline give it some fun detail while the soft color is perfect for my mostly monochrome wardrobe. I love that I can wear it now and it makes me feel feminine and a bit ethereal but that it will also be wonderful for the coming summer with a sweet new little one.

I've been very under the weather the past few days with a major heartburn turned nausea thing that was, to be honest, pretty awful. But, after being couch-ridden for most of this last week, I'm happy to say that I finally feel on the mend! So, after a relaxing bath and actually getting myself put together for the first time in days, I decided to snap some shots of this gorgeous dress to show you guys! I  normally choose small/medium when it comes to clothing because I like it to be more flowy and less fitted. For this dress, I chose a medium to accommodate for the bump and so that it'll be super comfy after baby arrives too. I really, really love it and can't thank Pink Blush Maternity enough for gifting it to me!

Wouldn't you know, the MINUTE I stepped outside nearly all of the curl fell out of my hair... So, I decided to snap a few inside as well, and I love the moody look they have. It was a cloudy/dreary day (as is again today) but somehow those almost always end up being the very best days for photos.

I pray you're all staying safe and healthy during this uncertain time. Try not to focus on the things that make you fearful as much as the many blessings you have. Remember that if we put our trust in Jesus, he will carry us through whatever we're faced with. Praying for you and all those effected daily friends!
