One layering piece I've never tried before is the duster. I have a couple but, I could never find a good way to wear them. Why I never tried it beats me because I loved styling this one. It's a great neutral color so it works well with solid or patterned tops or dresses and it's not too thick so I can wear it all day without getting over heated. For some grocery shopping this past weekend, I paired it with a simple white slouchy top, tucked in just slightly at the waist, some skinnies rolled at the ankle and my favorite wedge. It worked great, was virtually effortless and kept my arms out of the crazy wind, as you can you tell from the photos!

A wedge is something else I haven't tried until now. Again, WHY? I LOVE these shoes!! They fit perfectly, give me a little more height without making me feel off balance and will add a little something to any spring or summer outfit. I can wear them all. the. time. and still look and feel great. I thrifted these and just recently thrifted another pair of colored wedges that I can't wait to wear very soon. They are also great for that transitional weather between seasons when it's not really warm enough for shorts but your feet start to sweat wearing boots.

I also love the pair linked below. The stripes add a little detail and would be perfect for a beach vaca! (ahem.. I do have one of those coming up..) Also, the backpack? I've mentioned it before but I love it. I have this one and a black one and sometimes feel like all I do is switch back and forth between them. They make it so easy to have all of my essentials and are still so easy to carry. If you haven't invested in one yet, do it. You won't regret it.
